Delete your PodPaw account

Legal · Last updated: 2026-10-25

This page explains how to request deletion of your PodPaw account and what data is removed. PodPaw provides in-app account deletion on iOS and Android. There is currently no separate web delete flow.

1. How to delete your account

  1. Open the PodPaw mobile app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to Profile / Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion prompts. Deletion cannot be undone.

If you cannot use the app, contact us through in-app support (while still signed in) or via https://podpaw.app and we will help you request account deletion.

2. What we delete

When account deletion completes, we permanently delete or anonymize data associated with your account on our servers, including:

Account identifiers (for example email address and sign-in provider IDs from Google or Apple).

Library and content: cards/articles, bots, notebooks and notes, collections, and related metadata.

Playback progress, listening state, sessions, auth tokens, voice preferences, and usage records tied to your account.

Media objects that belong only to your account (shared media still needed by other users may be retained for them).

3. What we may retain

We may retain limited technical logs or records for a short period when needed for security, fraud or abuse prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. After that period, those records are deleted or anonymized.

Offline copies on your device are cleared when you leave the signed-in session after deletion.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play and/or the Apple App Store. Deleting your PodPaw account does not by itself cancel or refund store purchases.

To manage subscriptions or request a refund, use Google Play or the Apple App Store account and support tools.
